Forager's Bag, Sprang Weaving

The project started from raw Cheviot wool that I picked, scoured, combed, spun, and dyed with foraged black walnuts.
Sprang weaving dates back to 1400bce and involves manipulating vertical fibers (the warp) without use of any horizontal fibers (weft) that are utilized in many weaving techniques.
The accompanying pictures show stages of the process, as well as the warp sticks and loom I made.
